6:30 - 10 PM at THE HOOK & LADDER / ZEN ARCADE in MINNEAPOLIS

  • Partner Event! Country Gospel Jamboree & Kickoff Party with McKain Lakey and Kevin Gamble & friends. Hosted Jam with Bill & Sarah Cagley at 6:30! Tickets available through the Hook and Ladder.

Friday April 4th

6 - 11 PM at CHARLES THOMPSON MEMORIAL HALL in ST. PAUL

  • Doors open at 5:30pm

  • Social Hour with music by Mumblin Drew’s Oldfangled Orchestrators 6 - 7 PM!

  • Friday Night Concert with music by festival performers including Pop Wagner & Bob Bovee, Sweet Milk & Peaches (Jesse Downs & Liz Voz), lynx lynx (Vidar Skrede & Patrik Ahlberg), Danielle Enblom & Cory Froehlich, and Steam Machine. Concert starts at 7:30 PM.

  • Hosted Jam from 10 PM - 11 PM

Saturday April 5th

9 AM - 6PM at CELTIC JUNCTION in St. PAUL

  • Doors open at 9am

  • Full day of hands-on workshops from 10am - 4pm including fiddle, banjo, midwest music history and collections, old time guitar, mandolin, singing, clogging, line dancing, back-up piano, and many more. See the full list of workshops HERE!

  • Hosted and open jams

  • Cajun music workshop and beginner jam (offsite event at Showtime Studio - see workshops page for more info)

  • All ages drop-in Crankie making with Olli Johnson from 2:30 - 4 pm

  • Concert sets by festival performers

  • Family Dance with Sue Hulsether, 3:30 - 5 pm

  • Dwight Lamb Jam and happy hour - a memorial jam session celebrating fiddle tunes played, preserved, and passed on by National Heritage Fellow Dwight Lamb (1934 - 2024). Come play along, or hang out and listen. Led by Dwight’s longtime apprentice and friend, Bill Peterson. 4 - 6 pm.

7 PM - midnight at CELTIC JUNCTION in ST. PAUL

  • Doors for the evening open at 7pm

  • Evening dances and lots of room for jamming!

  • Polka, Waltz, Schottische hour with the Upper Midwest Folk Fiddlers from 7 - 8pm

  • Performance by the Wild Goose Chase Cloggers 7:30 PM

  • Scandinavian Jam with Vidar Skrede & Patrik Ahlberg

  • Square Dance (& ALBUM RELEASE PARTY!!) with Chirps Smith and Swampers Revenge! 8 PM! Dances taught and called by Dot Kent, Jesse Downs, Sue Hulsether, Ann Carter, Laura Idle, Liz Voz, Bob Walser, and more. No experience necessary, all are welcome.

Sunday April 6th

10 AM - 12 PM at SHOWTIME STUDIO & COFFEE in ROSEVILLE

Partner Event! Beginner Jam: Join the members of the Waconia Old Time Jam for a beginner jam at Showtime Studio & Coffee in Roseville. Jam tempos will be slower than an experienced jam and focus on old time tunes in the keys of A, D, and G, played by ear together with no breaks.

1 PM - 3PM at MERLIN’S REST in MINNEAPOLIS

Calling all festival participants - come join us for the first annual Twin Town Talent Contest! Sign up to share a talent, or just come by Merlin’s Rest, grab some brunch and cheer on the contestants! All types of talents welcome - fiddle, banjo, mandolin, and other instruments, bands of any kind, singing, dancing, stunts, magic tricks, etc.

Monday April 7th

7:00 - 10:00 PM at EAGLES CLUB #34 in MINNEAPOLIS

  • festival edition of the one and only Monday Night Square Dance!

  • All are welcome, no dance experience necessary, all dances will be taught and called.

  • Live music by Colin Harris, Maxine Gerber, Adam Kiesling, and friends, and fantastic calling by Laura Idle and Sue Hulsether!
